DMCA

This Digital Millennium Copyright Act (“DMCA”) Policy explains how we handle copyright infringement claims in connection with the ImmersiON virtual reality platform. We are committed to protecting the intellectual property rights of creators, developers, and designers whose work contributes to our immersive VR experiences.

Our goal is to provide a safe and innovative environment where users can enjoy VR rooms, simulations, and interactive worlds without violating the rights of others. This policy outlines our procedures for addressing infringement claims, the responsibilities of our users, and the actions we may take to resolve disputes.

Protected works on the ImmersiON platform may include 3D models, environments, architectural designs, lighting schemes, visual effects, soundscapes, original music, voice recordings, interactive scripts, game logic, brand elements, and promotional artwork. Any unauthorized reproduction, distribution, modification, or public display of such content without the express permission of the rights holder is prohibited.

Examples of prohibited actions include extracting VR assets from rooms, replicating proprietary environments, using recorded VR sessions for commercial purposes without authorization, or distributing modified versions of official content. Publishing unreleased, hidden, or restricted VR experiences without permission is also forbidden.

We support creative community engagement, including the creation of user-generated VR spaces, recorded gameplay showcases, educational demonstrations, and reviews. However, these must not mislead viewers into believing they are official experiences, must not use restricted assets, and must comply with all applicable laws and our platform guidelines.

If you believe that your copyrighted work has been used on ImmersiON in a way that constitutes infringement, you may submit a DMCA notice. Your notice should clearly identify the protected work, the exact location of the infringing content, include a statement of good faith belief that the use is unauthorized, and a declaration that the information you provide is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the rights holder.

Upon receipt of a valid notice, we may remove or disable access to the reported content, notify the user responsible for it, and, if necessary, request further information to verify the claim. Repeat infringers may have their accounts suspended or terminated to protect the integrity of our platform.

If you believe your content was removed in error or due to misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification. This should include identification of the removed material, its prior location, and a good faith statement asserting your right to use the content. We will review counter-notifications and may restore the content unless a new valid claim is received.

We acknowledge that certain uses of copyrighted materials may fall under “fair use” or other legal exceptions. Each case will be assessed individually, and we reserve the right to remove content that we believe infringes on the rights of others or violates our terms.

This policy applies to all content hosted or shared through ImmersiON VR rooms, including public and private sessions. We may update this DMCA Policy at any time to reflect changes in law, technology, or our services. Continued use of the platform after updates signifies acceptance of the revised terms.

The purpose of this DMCA Policy is to ensure that ImmersiON remains a lawful, creative, and immersive space for users worldwide, where innovation thrives while respecting the rights of all creators.
